CULTURAL
ATTRACTIONS
From the internationally known Pittsburgh Symphony
Orchestra to a multitude of community and little theater
groups, the Pittsburgh metropolitan area is alive with
music, dance, theater and the arts. The O’Reilly Theater
is a professional theater that offers a variety of both
popular and experimental productions, and the
Pittsburgh Opera performs operas in their original
languages with English translations projected on a
screen above the stage. Elegant, yet comfortable,
surroundings for major performances are provided by the
Benedum Center for the Performing Arts and Heinz Hall
for the Performing Arts in downtown Pittsburgh and
Carnegie Lecture Hall and Carnegie Music Hall
in Oakland.
